Canada Visa Waiver

Electronic Travel Authorization

The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) Requirement applies to all foreign nationals with Passports currently exempted from requiring a Visa when flying To or Transiting to Canada. This requirement covers direct flights to and from Canada, as well Manila-New York and New York-Manila flights VIA Vancouver.

For flights operating NON-STOP from Manila to New York and vice-versa starting 28October2018, passengers are EXEMPTED from the eTA requirement.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Resident Filipino Citizens who are Person With Disability (PWD) are entitled to 20% Discount on Regular Domestic Fares and VAT Exemption on Domestic Fares. READ TERMS HERE

You MUST bring at the Airport Check-in counter your:

a) PWD ID in combination with any of the following:

i) Philippine passport; OR

ii) Any government-issued ID (E.g. Driver’s License, voters ID, SSS/GSIS ID, PRC card, postal ID)

Per CAB Resolution No. 41, failure to present the required identification (IDs) will result, subject to the terms and conditions of your ticket, in either the:

1) Collection at the airport of the amount of 20% discount and 12% VAT based on the current applicable fare at the time of check-in in accordance with the fare restrictions applicable to the ticket, PLUS a fine of Php1,500.00; OR

2) Forfeiture of your ticket.

Person With Disability

Adult: A passenger who has reached his/her 12th birthday as of the commencement of travel. An adult traveling with children must be at least 18 years old

Child: A passenger who has reached his/her 2nd birthday but not his/her 12th birthday as of the date of commencement of travel. A child ages 2 to less than 8 years old should always be accompanied by an adult passenger. A child ages 8 to less than 12 years old may travel unaccompanied. Please contact (632) 855-8888.

Infant: A passenger at least 16 days old and has not reached his/her 2nd birthday as of the date of commencement of travel. We follow One-Infant-Per-Adult Policy.

Senior Citizen: Resident Filipino Citizen of the Philippines at least 60 years old as of the date of advanced booking.

Person With Disability: Resident Filipino Citizens with long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairments, which, in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society and on equal basis with others, recognized as such by, and registered with, the Philippine National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) of the local government unit where they reside.
